How it all began
The concept of T.E.A.M. CLINIC® sports medicine started back in the 80s after founder Dr. André Chevalier experienced a severe skiing accident. After months of ineffective care, medication and frustration dealing with conflicting medical advice, Dr. Chevalier began to investigate alternative therapies such as chiropractic care which only after a few visits dramatically helped him to a healthy recovery.
After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1991, Dr. Chevalier joined Mission Chiropractic where he started integrating different forms of alternative therapy tailored to each patient. Combining his previous coaching and kinesiology experience to current rehabilitation protocol, Dr. Chevalier rapidly built a referral based practice that peaked the curiosity of many athletes, coaches and event coordinators. After volunteering at many local, state, national and international events, Dr. Chevalier saw first hand how excited athletes were to receive expert opinions and care from a wide range of different health care specialists all under one tent.
